MAIN FEATURES OF VALVES CERTIFIED ATEX II 1/2 GD c T135 °C
Rotary valves made by RO-
SECURITY
These rotary valves are intended for use in ATEX 0 /20 inside and 1/21 outside.
MIE
minimum ignition energy : ≥ 3 mJ
RELIABILITY
The proverbial reliability of our products was further increased in this series of valves, in order to ensure years of safe working and without MAINTENANCE
The rotors are HARDENED AND BALANCED before assembly , in order to obtain a smooth and quiet rotation that does not generate undesirable increases in temperature and early wear.
The stators are inspected on a random time to ensure uniformity in the standard of quality required by the project .
Bearings and Seals are chosen from the catalog of the best European producers.
After assembly , each valve is tested and sealed before shipping.
The valves are sealed so as not to compromise the calibration of the internal registers, so it is forbidden tampering with them, otherwise you lose the warranty.
As it is forbidden to even loosen one bolt, it would be good to predict the presence of the gearbox, ordering it already installed or ask the manufacturer.
According to regulation, it is mandatory to fix the time within which bearings and seals must be replaced. But as the valve can not be touched by unauthorized persons, on the rating plate is an indication, in working hours, within which to carry out the review, also established based on the product worked .
In this regard, a reference table is available on the user's manual.
MAINTENANCE
NONE , LUBRICATION INCLUDED.
NB : ATEX VALVES WILL BE PROVIDED WITH OR WITHOUT ATEX GEARBOX INSTALLED .
CONSTRUCTION
And now let’s move to some observations about the components of a rotary valve and the materials used :
Rotary valves are assemblies made by different components :
STATOR (BODY OF THE VALVE): it is made by cast-
SIDES: they are made from the same production cycle of the stator.
ROTOR: it is generally made by two parts: the internal core and the laminaes that make the "star" of sectors. Laminaes are welded to the core part.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Valves can be made of different materials depending on usage. Here are some examples:
