PRESSURE DROP
In a pneumatic conveying line, the load loss represents the difference between the air pressure in inlet and outlet . They can be of different types , but generally are classified as "Distributed" when it refers to the entire system and " Localized" when referring to a single item or component.
In one way or another, are part of the characteristics of a plant for which must always be calculated and considered, although they may be : physiological, ie normal characteristic consequent to an embodiment ; unwanted, ie unforeseen consequence compared to the theoretical part ; wanted, that is expressly provided for by the designer.
